Hi lovely fans, romance readers and other “clean indie read” enthusiasts, I’m about to take my series wide (to a number of other retailers out there in addition to Amazon) and as part of that I’ll need to do some fairly expensive adverting.
Here’s where you can help. If you’ve read book 1, A Chance to Come True, a review on Amazon would be greatly appreciated. Some advertising sites require numerous reviews before they’ll even consider a book, and while I’m grateful for every one of the 91 reviews I already have, a few more would be even better.
A review needn’t say much more than that you enjoyed the book and perhaps a bit about why— just something that gives potential readers a bit of insight. I often say things like “I cared about the characters” , or “I loved the setting and the authors style of writing” or “I couldn’t put the book down” or other little things.
Anyway, thank you in advance for any help you can offer. (Just click on the photo to go to the Amazon page, then scroll down to where it says write a review)
I entered my newest book into a competition… no expectations of winning as it’s up against books that have been out much longer and have many good reviews, but thought I’d have a go anyway. So today I got their review, and I can’t stop smiling.

Have I told you about indieBRAG? Brag stands for Book Readers Appreciation Group – and indieBRAG is a group that reviews indie books and awards medallions to those books that meet the high standards of the traditional publishing industry.
I’m fortunate to have now received my fifth medallion, and will be submitting another book to them soon.
Be sure to check out the books on offer there if you’re looking for quality indie books. You can visit them here.
It won’t be long until Murder at the Creek is available, but until then, here’s a peak at the cover & blurb.
When murder comes to town, good people’s lives get put on hold.
For the first time in his life Rob Andersen has big plans for Valentine’s Day; but when a young woman’s body is discovered, the small town cop must shift his focus from the living to the dead.
This is the sixth standalone novel in the Copperhead Creek Australian Romance series, set in the small town of Willows where people’s lives overlap and tangle.
As soon as it’s live I’ll let you know – it’ll be at a special price initially.
There’s another group I’m proud to be part of, and it too is all about indies. indieBRAG is an acronym for Book Readers Appreciation Group – where readers get to experience all kinds of books written by indie authors – some that don’t fit into your normal genre categories.
But one thing you can be sure of is that all books in the catalogue have been read to ensure they meet the indieBRAG standards of quality and content before being awarded the coveted indieBRAG medallion.
So if you’re looking for something new & different, and would like to give an indie author a go, here’s a great place to start. Just keep in mind that these aren’t necessarily “Clean Reads” so you’ll need to keep that in mind as you peruse the catalogue.
Have a look at all the wonderful books in the catalogue, including mine! You can join the newsletter, or simply browse the books and make a selection – just click the blue link. indieBRAG

You’ve gotta watch at least one, if only to see the hilariously clever Lia in action. They’re great reviews and I guarantee you’ll get a bit of a laugh. Lia’s humour and antics are sure to brighten your day. Go on … check it out … you know you want to.
